A very pregnant M.I.A. has lent a new song, along with a remix by DFA of the hit single PAPER PLANES, on the soundtrack of a BOLLYWOOD movie called SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. "O...SAYA" doesn't feature M.I.A. until the 1:50 mark, but the beats and drums are pretty catchy throughout the entire song. Of course it's nothing compared to KALA or ARULAR, but anything by her is good by us. See for yourself and listen to "O...SAYA" featured below.

N.A.S.A. has a new album, "THE SPIRIT OF APOLLO," set to be released FEBRUARY 17TH, 2009, and "GIFTED" (ft. KANYE WEST, LYKKE LI, and SANTOGOLD) is a cosmic-esque, electro track that will definitely leaving you craving more.

"The idea is to ignore all of the boundaries and borders that are in place to keep people divided, such as musical genre, race, politics, geography, language, etc. As a result, they gathered the craziest and most eclectic collection of musicians ever assembled on one album in the hope that they can show, through music, that all those superficial divisions are an illusion."

LILY ALLEN'S sophomore CD cover for, "IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU", was unveiled today, and we're kind of on the fence about it. We do admire it not being dramatically photoshopped and overly done, but truthfully, it is a bit boring compared to "ALRIGHT, STILL." However, from what we have heard from the upcoming album, we are impressed with her new sound and are looking forward to her CD release and tour dates in 2009. TOM FORD'S already controversial ways (Example:BLACK ORCHID ads) have hit a new level. Whether it may be mere coincidence or actual purpose, one specific perfume within his PRIVATE BLEND line, TUSCAN LEATHER, relates to an also controversial substance: COCAINE. It's no secret that within the world of modeling and fashion, drugs are a prominent, regular occurring thing, so that is what particularly leads us to believing it's not just "an original take on a classic leather scent. Saffron, raspberry, and thyme, open to olibanum and night-blooming jasmine,” while “leather, black suede, and amber wood add an intricate richness."

Despite the uproar of theories behind the scent, it's obviously not controversial enough to damage sales, with 8.7 OUNCES selling at a pricey $450.00. So, is FORD playing a subtle game, or was it really a mistake? With the question still unanswered, we can only continue to ask one more: What will he come up with next?

FRENCH electro artist SEBASTIEN TELLIER, is extremely talented and easily one of our favourite FRENCH musicians. His February 2008 album, SEXUALITY, was produced by DAFT PUNK co-founder Guy Manuel De Homem-Christo. SEXUALITY is a killer album full of piercing synth and suggesting lyrics...just what we love. SEXUALITY also gives the listener a taste of SEBASTIEN'S take on the different types of sexuality. An interesting little piece of trivia is that SEXUALITY is the first complete project DAFT PUNK'S Homem-Christo has worked on. We are sure most of you music savvy people have heard this album, but if you haven't, dont sweat it (no pun intended) you can get it HERE and on iTunes, but this post isn't about the album per-say, its about the revival of one of its songs: KILOMETER. Also, while we're on the subject of the musical genius that is DAFT PUNK, we just discovered their DJ set for LOUIS VUITTON'S Spring/Summer 2008 fashion show. Yeah, yeah, we know, its been out for a while now, but we don't care, we love it! Its a sixteen minute mix that is perfect for exactly what it was made for...the runway, as well as your listening pleasure. Everything in this set just flows so naturally and keeps the name DAFT PUNK standing strong. Enjoy below:

Okay, boys, we know we haven't posted much for your fashion interest, but we think we've got something! A trend that we have been seeing on you boys lately, especially in the club, is PLEATHER in the form of jackets, and we must say, we absolutely approve. The AMITYVILLE JACKET by LRG is one of the best we've seen for the price: not too cheap (Forever 21) and not too expensive (Mike n' Chris). LILY ALLEN'S new music video for her single "THE FEAR," is out from her upcoming album "IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU" (Feb. 2009), and we absolutely love it. The song & video are a play on the loss of reality and how some are willing to do anything to be accepted into the superficial world of fame ("I'll take my clothes off, and it will be shameless/'Cause everyone knows thats how you get famous.."). The video shows LILY in an "ALICE IN WONDERLAND," theme with first beginning in a modest trailor and then traveling to a grand mansion with rooms of dancing butlers, cupcakes, presents, and finally onto the front lawn with thousands of balloons and colors. The video is honest in it's message, and even though the theme is quite fairy tale-esque, we think she has begun to prove what she has been aiming for: "I wanted it to feel like it had some sort of integrity. I think I've grown up a bit as a person, and I hope it reflects that." Download THE FEAR below.
